  • Simply Soft Quick Yarn, 4 skeins each: Bone (#0003); Off White (#0002) (Caron)


  • Knitting needles, size 19 (or size needed to obtain gauge)
  • Crochet hook, size N/13
  • Yarn needle

  • 1. In seed stitch, 7 sts and 10 rows = 4" (gauge is not critical for this project).

  • 1. seed stitch: (multiple of 2 sts)
  • 2. Row 1: *K1, P1; rep from * across.
  • 3. Row 2: Knit the purl sts and purl the knit sts as they face you.
  • 4. Rep Row 2 for seed st.
  • What To Do
  • 1. Using one strand of each yarn held together, cast on 14 sts. (RS) Begin seed st; work even until piece measures 90" from beginning, and end with a WS row. Bind off all sts loosely in pattern.
  • 2. To finish, use yarn needle to weave in all ends.
  • 3. For fringe, cut 28 18" lengths of each color yarn. Holding one strand of each color together, fold fringe in half. Using crochet hook, * insert hook from WS to RS into first st at one corner of scarf, pull through fold of strands (loop), insert ends into loop, and pull tight against edge. Repeat from *, working into every st along entire short end. Repeat for opposite end.
