  • 1. Blanket is 41"x44" (including lacy edge).
  • Gauge
  • 1. 10-1/2 sts and 11 rows = 4".
  • Special Terms
  • 1. Sc2tog (single crochet 2 together): Insert hook in next stitch, yarn over and pull up a loop, (two loops on hook), insert hook in next stitch, yarn over and pull up a loop, yarn over and draw through all three loops on hook.
  • 2. Picot: Ch 3, slip st in sc just made.
  • Notes
  • 1. When asked to work 86 sts evenly spaced along side edge, divide side into 4 sections and work 21 sts in first and third sections and 22 sts in second and fourth sections.
  • 2. If desired, create a simpler, thinner lace edge by working only the first few rounds of lace edging.

  • 1. With A, ch 101.
  • 2. Row1: Sc in second ch from hook, dc in next ch, *sc in next ch, dc in next ch; repeat from * across, turn - 100 sts.
  • 3. Row 2: Ch 1, sc in first dc, dc in next sc, *sc in next dc, dc in next sc; repeat from * across, turn.
  • 4. Repeat last row until throw measures 35". Do not fasten off.

  • 1. Rnd 1 (RS): 3 sc in forst st (corner made), *sc in next 23 sts, sc2tog; repeat from * 2 more times, sc in next 23 sts, 3 sc in last st (corner made); pivot to work along edge of throw, work 86 sc evenly spaced along edge; pivot to work in free loops along opposite side of foundation ch, 3 sc in first ch (corner made), *sc in next 23 ch, sc2tog; repeat from * 2 more times sc in next 23 ch, 3 sc in last ch (corner made); pivot to work along edge of throw, work 86 sc evenly spaced along edge; join with slip st in first sc-374 sts.
  • 2. Fasten off.
  • 3. With RS facing, join B with sc in last sc of any 3 sc corner.
  • 4. Rnd 2: *Ch 3, skip 2 sc, sc in next sc; repeat from * around skipping only 1 center sc at corners; join with ch 1, dc in first sc (ch 1, dc counts as ch-3 sp)-126 ch-3sp.
  • 5. Rnd 3: Ch 1, sc in ch-3 sp formed by (ch 1, dc), ch 3, sc in next ch-3 sp, 5 dc in next sc, *(ch 3, sc in next ch-3 sp) twice, 5 dc in next sc; repeat from * around; join with ch 1, dc in first sc.
