Mini Album with Recycled Materials

  • Cardstock of choice, 12"x12"
  • Ribbon

  • Tombow: Adhesive Dots, Tombow Xtreme Permanent Adhesive

Basic Supplies

  • scissors
  • 1. Cut two 4"x5" chipboard pieces and two 6"x7" old book pages. Adhere each chipboard piece onto center of paper using Tombow Xtreme Permanent Adhesive.
  • 2. Cut corners on paper to fold. Score around chipboard to make folding easy. Apply Tombow Xtreme Permanent Adhesive on paper corners and fold. Repeat on other chipboard.

    Fold corners and adhere.
  • 3. Place both chipboard pieces 1" apart with wrong side facing up. Adhere ribbon horizontally across pieces using Tombow Xtreme Permanent Adhesive.

    Place ribbon across both chipboards.
  • 4. Score 12"x12" cardstock at 3", 6", and 9". Turn cardstock 90 degrees and score at 4" and 8".

    Score cardstock.
  • 5. Cut along 4" score line; stop before last rectangle. Flip cardstock and cut 8" score line, stopping before last rectangle.

  • 6. Fold cardstock in zigzag pattern and use washi tape to secure two open folds.

  • 7. Apply Tombow Xtreme Permanent Adhesive to back of first page and last page; adhere to insides of chipboard panels.

  • 8. Adhere embellishments to album front using Adhesive Dots. Close book by tying ribbon in bow.
