Materials

  • Papier-mâché purse with beaded handle
  • White cards and envelopes, 3”x5”
  • White cardstock
  • Coordinating patterned
  • Brads
  • Crystal adhesive gems
  • Pink rick rack
  • Yellow/white gingham ribbon
  • Precious Petals Daisies (BoBunny)

Tools

  • Stamps: flower and stem (Making Memories); sentiments
  • Ink pads: pink; green
  • Circle craft punch
  • Fine sandpaper
  • Mod Podge for Paper découpage medium (Plaid)
  • Cards and Envelopes
  • 1. For envelopes, stamp green stem and pink flower on left edge. Adhere gem sticker to center of each flower.
  • 2. Using photos as guides, decorate card fronts. Cover with patterned papers. Decorate with paper strips, circles, and daisies.
  • 3. Stamp sentiments onto white cardstock, trim, and insert brads if desired. Adhere to card.
  • Purse
  • 1. Cut and insert pink paper into photo insert area on purse; glue to secure.
  • 2. Adhere yellow paper to front and back of purse; sand excess paper away.
  • 3. Adhere pink paper to top, sides, and bottom of purse; sand excess. Note: Purse may be painted instead of covered with paper, too. Use craft knife to carefully slit paper along purse opening.
  • 4. Adhere rick rack to purse front.
  • 5. Apply Mod Podge to entire purse; let dry.
  • 6. Tie ribbon and rick rack to purse handle. Adhere large daisy to photo insert area.

  • 1. For more durable wear, apply several coats of découpage medium.
  • 2. Don't buy more paper - use up scraps instead.
