Basic Supplies

  • newspapers, scissors
  • 1. On protected work surface in well-ventilated area, spray paint metal can Copper.
  • 2. To create flowers, insert pipe cleaner end (stem) 1" through center of coffee filter. Pinching filter and stem at hole, twist filter around pipe cleaner to secure and create outermost petal shell.
  • 3. Fold another filter in half, then crinkle to create petal shape. Repeat for total of five filters. Adhere each petal inside outermost petal shell to create large flower. (Note: Scrunch filters as glue hardens to help them keep shape. Apply hot glue if needed.) Continue to make additional flowers to fill can base.
  • 4. Bunch pipe cleaner stems together and insert through bottom of inverted disposable cup. Spray Gold Glitter Dust over arrangement.
  • 5. Insert inverted cup into can base; secure using glue gun.
  • 6. Separate sprigs from floral spray and insert into arrangement as desired.
  • 7. Wrap raffia around can; embellish with leaves from floral spray as desired.
  • Tip
  • 1. Using store-bought floral sprays is an easy way to add color to this arrangement and coordinate with your décor.
