Basic Supplies

  • scissors, paintbrush
  • 1. Die cut tag shapes from watercolor paper.
  • 2. Stamp only main focal images on tags using Jet Black ink. Allow image to extend beyond tag edge to add visual interest.
  • 3. Color stamped images with Aquarelle pencils. Apply color in areas where it will be darkest. Using paintbrush, add water to white areas first and move into colored areas. (Note: The water will aid in blending and shading.)
  • 4. Shade around perimeter of main image using pastel pencil. Color directly onto tag and blend with fingertip.
  • 5. Ink tag edges using Peanut Brittle.
  • 6. Stamp Letter Background using Toffee Crunch and Music Background using Desert Sand on tags.
  • 7. Stamp sentiments on tags using Onyx Black.
  • 8. Embellish tags with ribbon, twine, and self-adhesive pearls. (Note: Adhere pearls with Glossy Accents to secure.)
