  • 1. Print and cut out patterns.
  • Angel
  • 1. Cover angel front with gold paper. Cut two gold translucent wings from each pattern; adhere overlapping to angel, following shape of ornament. Cut 2-1/2" length from gold paper lace; use pencil to curl and adhere vertically to bottom center of angel.
  • 2. For candle, cut 1"x1" pearlescent paper piece and tightly roll up; glue. Cut small piece from doily; adhere candle and doily piece to center of angel body as shown.
  • 3. Spread thin layer of glue along sides of angel, front edges of wings, and to tip of candle; sprinkle with glitter.
  • 4. For crown, cut 1-1/2" piece from gold paper lace and adhere around head.
  • Dove
  • 1. Paint dove sides with pearlescent glue; let dry.
  • 2. Cover dove front with cream glitter patterned paper. Cut two wing from same paper; fold along center lines and fold tabs under. Adhere over wings on ornament.
  • 3. Glue pearl trim along wing bases and around outside edges; trim to fit.
  • 4. Draw line of glue around dove head; sprinkle with glitter.
  • Cross
  • 1. Cover cross front with gold wrapping paper.
  • 2. Cut 12" length from gold paper lace; adhere to outside edges of cross.
  • 3. Cut two 1/4"x2" strips from cream glitter patterned paper; trim ends at angle. Glue one end of each to cross center, overlapping, so ends hang down.
  • 4. Punch out several flowers from white pearlescent and gold translucent paper; glue to cross center over ribbon ends. Cut pearls from trim; adhere to flower centers.
  • Fish
  • 1. Cover fish with white pearlescent paper.
  • 2. Cut 12" length from gold braid trim; adhere to outside edges of fish.
  • 3. For fish scales, punch out eleven gold translucent and eight white patterned vellum circles. Trim away 1/8" from one side of ten gold and six white circles. Apply tiny dab of glue to cut end of circles to adhere scales to fish, alternating rows of gold and white; use photo as placement guide.
  • 4. For tail, cut remaining gold circle in half; glue one to each inside edge of tail. Cut two remaining white circles. Glue two halves to tips of tail. Glue remaining two halves to base of tail, facing body; once dry, fold back towards tips of tail.
  • 5. Cut fin from gold translucent paper. Apply tiny dab of glue to straight end and slide up under scales to adhere to bottom edge of fish body.
  • 6. Glue rhinestone to face for eye.
  • Finishing
  • 1. For hanger, cut 10" ribbon length; fold in half and use straight pin to attach ribbon ends to top of ornament.
  • Tips
  • 1. In order to perfectly cover the ornaments with paper, spread a thin, even layer of all purpose stick flat glue over the entire front with a putty knife or credit card. Lay paper on cutting mat with back facing up; place glue side of ornament on paper. Hold shape down firmly, and use craft knife to cut away excess paper.
  • 2. Use straight pins to hold trims in place while glue dries.
