  • Sweet Posies patterned (Bo-Bunny Press)
  • Vacation Die-Cut Stickers (Making Memories)
  • Wordage Travel Rub-ons (Making Memories)
  • Girlfriends Trims ribbon, 1/2” (Heidi Grace)
  • Buttons: 1” black, two; 1/4” white, two; 1/2” fuchsia, one

Tools

  • Sewing needle and coordinating threads
  • Aleene’s adhesives (Duncan): Instant Matte Découpage Glue, Sealer & Finish; Memory Glue
  • 1. Follow manufacturer's instructions to apply thin coat of découpage glue to album cover; press cover to wrong side of patterned paper and let dry. Use craft knife to trim excess paper from edges. Apply second coat of découpage glue to album cover, over paper. Let dry.
  • 2. Using marker, and photo as guide, outline car shape on front cover. Apply sticker and rub-on words.
  • 3. Sew white buttons to centers of black buttons using black thread; adhere to album cover wheels. Sew an "X" through center of fuchsia button with coordinating thread; glue to album cover.
  • 4. Tie ribbon around binding; knot and trim ends at angle.

  • 3. Chipboard album pages make great luggage tags! Remove binding or carefully cut pages apart, cover with paper and embellish!
