Pattern - Antiqued Table Number & Name Cards

  • Table Number
  • 1. Trace front and back of papier-mâché number on white cardstock. Draw angled line on lower section of number as shown. Cut out traced numbers, cutting again at angled lines. Set pieces aside. Trace angled lines onto papier-mâché number.
  • 2. Measure width of number and around outside curved edge of number. Cut strip of white cardstock to this dimension (width x outside edge). Repeat for inside edge, cutting out section where number will be silver. Set section aside.
  • 3. Emboss all cardstock sections with Cabbage Roses. Use art wheel to apply Watermark ink to embossed paper.
  • 4. Working in small sections, cover number with glue and adhere paper in order: front, back, sides. Apply Antiquing Ink to edges with Color Blender.
  • 5. To create silver effect, apply Silver and Cement Pigment inks to reserved cardstock pieces with art wheel. (Note: Apply inks to large areas with tools to protect your inkpad from tearing and color contamination.) Spray cardstock with both Silver Foil and Vanilla Shimmer Spritzes, blending with art wheel. Apply 2-3 drops of IZINK to art wheel; roll on cardstock. Spray small amount of Platinum Spritz on cardstock; let sit for 5-10 seconds before blending with art wheel. Apply Cement ink over art screen with dauber. Repeat Step 4 to adhere to number.
  • 6. Adhere 1/2" navy cardstock strip along diagonal seam as shown. Stamp roses on white cardstock with Pink Sky ink, cut to 1/2" strip, and adhere along diagonal seam. Lightly sand edges to smooth.
  • 7. Print out full-size pattern. Cut two 2" strips from tissue paper sheet. Fold strips; cut out flower shape using pattern. Unfold and wrap strips around end of pencil, securing with small amounts of glue. Pull flower off pencil; adhere to number.
  • Name Cards
  • 1. Print guest names on white cardstock. Die cut name card and navy cardstock panels with Matting die. Emboss navy cardstock with Cabbage Roses.
  • 2. Die cut Label from white cardstock. Using label as stencil, cover printed section of name card. Apply silver inking technique from Step 5 to name card.
  • 3. Condition clay and form into round disk; poke hole with pencil. Stamp with number using Abyss ink.
  • 4. Punch hole in both cards. Tie cards and disk together using silver ribbon. Tie small pink bow around silver ribbon.
