Pattern - Angel Treat Cups

  • 1. Turn all three cups upside down. Ask adult helper to use craft knife to cut out cup bottoms.
  • 2. Trace around top of cups onto white cardstock; cut out three circles using scissors. Apply glue to top rim and press onto circles, creating bottom for each upside down cup. Let dry.
  • 3. Paint cups white; let dry. Paint cups with two coats blue; let dry.
  • 4. Print out full-size patterns. Transfer angel patterns to cardstock as indicated on pattern and cut out.
  • 5. Use colored pencils to color faces, hands, and hair as desired. Lightly apply pink pencil to cheeks as shown. Use black marker to add eyes, lashes, and mouths.
  • 6. Adhere each hand to end of sleeves. Apply glue to back of hands and to inside center of sleeve. Wrap sleeve piece around cup, bringing hands together. Press in place, holding center part of sleeve and hands against cup until dry.
  • 7. Adhere neck to center top of sleeve piece and wings to angel back.
  • 8. Refer to photo to add Gold glitter glue around neck, on headband, and along edge of each sleeve end and Silver glitter glue to wings. Let glitter glue dry completely.
  • 9. Finish by filling each angel with treats or trinkets.
  • Tip
  • 1. Use spring-type clothespins to hold sleeves in place until glue drys.
