Cocoa Day Calendar Card

Materials

  • Oh Joy Collection patterned paper kit (Cosmo Cricket)
  • Small manila office tag
  • Cocoa Cardstock Stickers (October Afternoon)
  • Red buttons (Buttons Galore)
  • Red/white twisted cord
  • Brown Slick Writer (American Crafts)
  • Stickles Cinnamon glitter glue (Ranger)
  • Small tin filled with cocoa mix

Tools

  • ColorBox Creamy Brown Fluid Chalk Inkpad (Clearsnap)
  • Zip Dry Paper Glue (Beacon Adhesives)
  • 1. Make 5"x6" side-fold Frosty card base. Cut contrasting strip and adhere to front; dot strip with glitter glue and let dry. Adhere five buttons to end of strip.
  • 2. Tie cord around card front near fold, tying ends through button. Fray cord ends. Cut words from Strip Tease paper and ink edges. Mat "Baby" on contrasting cardstock. Adhere words to card as shown.
  • 3. Use Slick Writer to write party info on striped paper; trim and adhere inside card. Dot with glitter glue.
  • 4. Adhere paper around bottom of tin below lid. Handwrite "Thanks for Coming" on tag, ink edges and tie to tin with candy cane cord. Adhere "cocoa" sticker and button at bottom of tag.
