  • Stamps (Hero Arts): ClearDesign Birthday Messages set; CardArt Thinking of You; Lupine

  • Glimmer Mist (Tattered Angels): Patina; Lemon Zest
  • Clear embossing powder
  • Heat tool
  • Marvy Circle Punch, 3/4” (Uchida)
  • 1. Make lime card base. Cut 3-3/4"x4-3/4" teal piece; set aside.
  • 2. Stamp Majestic Blue sentiment on lime cardstock; punch into circle.
  • 3. Randomly spray Lemon Zest Glimmer Mist over sheet of white cardstock; fill in white areas with Patina. Quickly blend colors in circular motion using paper towel; press lightly to avoid scratching paper. Add more mist as needed; let dry completely. Cut 3-1/2"x4-1/2" piece from sheet.
  • 4. Use markers to color Lupine flowers and stems; color flowers lighter blue and edge darker blue. Breathe heavily across stamp ("huffing") to moisten, then stamp color mist background. Repeat twice more, cleaning stamp between impressions. Stamp butterflies in same way. Let dry completely.
  • 5. Ink entire stamped color mist piece with VersaMark and sprinkle with clear embossing powder; heat set until raised and shiny. Repeat four times to achieve glossy look. Mat on teal piece cut in Step 1; adhere photo corners and gems as shown. With card fold at top, adhere layered panel as shown.
  • 6. Cut small slit in fold at left side; tie ribbon around card front through slit. Slide hat pin through ribbon knot. Adhere gem to lime flower, lime flower to sentiment circle and circle to teal flower. Adhere flower to knot.
