Materials

  • Linen table designs: napkins with fringe, four; runner

Tools

  • Plaid Fabric Creations Soft Fabric Inks: Tangerine, Ganache, Metallic Pure Gold
  • Plaid Fabric Creations Block Printing Stamps: Small Basket Weave, Small Tribal Chevron, Baroque Scroll Border, Medium Hex Honeycomb; Sponge Cubes; Foam Painting Mat

Basic Supplies

  • iron and pressing surface, paper plate for palette, paper towels
  • 1. Before beginning, iron napkins and runner. Position ironed napkin flat on foam painting mat. Use sponge cube to dab Ganache on Small Basket Weave stamp; stamp border above fringe on napkin using firm pressure; reapplying paint as needed on stamp using sponge cube. Repeat process to stamp Small Tribal Chevron on border of another napkin using Tangerine. Repeat process for two remaining napkins. Let dry.
  • 2. For runner, use Medium Hex Honeycomb stamp to stamp three rows using Gold Metallic, fourth row using half Gold Metallic and half Ganache for ombre look, and fifth row using Ganache. Use paper towel and water to clean and dry stamp between color changes. Stamp sixth row Baroque Scroll using Tangerine. Continue pattern in reverse repeating honeycomb rows using Ganache, then Ganache and Gold Metallic for ombre row, and finally three rows Gold Metallic. Let dry.
  • 3. Repeat Step 2 on other end of runner. Let dry.
