Materials
- Small table
- FolkArt Acrylic Paint (Plaid): Fresh Foliage
- Classic K Margo Double-Sided Paper Pad (K&Company)
Tools
- FolkArt Matte Varnish (Plaid)
- Découpage medium
- Soft paintbrush
- Medium-grit sandpaper
- Tack cloth
- Zip Dry Paper Glue (Beacon Adhesives)
- 1. Sand table; wipe dust.
- 2. Basecoat Fresh Foliage; let dry. Gently sand edges for a "worn" look. Apply varnish.
- 3. Make template from scrap paper the same size as table top and shelf.
- 4. Cut 3" squares from assorted papers.
- 5. Glue squares to templates, creating a "patchwork" look, overlapping edges of templates. Trim edges of squares even with templates.
- 6. Glue patchwork templates to table top and shelf. Apply 1-2 coats of découpage medium to top of papers. (Note: Découpage medium seals and protects papers.)
