  • Small table
  • FolkArt Acrylic Paint (Plaid): Fresh Foliage
  • Classic K Margo Double-Sided Paper Pad (K&Company)


  • FolkArt Matte Varnish (Plaid)
  • Découpage medium
  • Soft paintbrush
  • Medium-grit sandpaper
  • Tack cloth
  • Zip Dry Paper Glue (Beacon Adhesives)
  • 1. Sand table; wipe dust.
  • 2. Basecoat Fresh Foliage; let dry. Gently sand edges for a "worn" look. Apply varnish.
  • 3. Make template from scrap paper the same size as table top and shelf.
  • 4. Cut 3" squares from assorted papers.
  • 5. Glue squares to templates, creating a "patchwork" look, overlapping edges of templates. Trim edges of squares even with templates.
  • 6. Glue patchwork templates to table top and shelf. Apply 1-2 coats of découpage medium to top of papers. (Note: Découpage medium seals and protects papers.)
