Basic Supplies

  • scissors, paper towels, pencil, ruler
  • 1. Cut 32" length burlap ribbon using floral shears. Generously apply glue stick to 2" edge of disc. Wrap ribbon around disc, overlapping ends slightly at back. Wrap extra 1/4" length of ribbon around to bottom of disc; secure wire edge using glue gun.
  • 2. Cut cedar sprays apart into 4"-10" lengths; divide into long-, medium-, and short-length piles. Begin inserting long greenery into disc inset 2" from edge, allowing greenery to extend past edge. Continue inserting long greenery around disc, radiating out from disc center. Insert medium-length greenery in same manner, with insertion points toward center of disc, covering inserted ends of long pieces. Continue filling in toward center, using short pieces. Allow some short pieces to extend up. Fill in with more greenery where needed.
  • 3. Using wire cutter, notch then bend dowels to break into one each: 6", 8" and 10" lengths. Lightly wipe dowels with ink applied with paper towel to shade wood. Insert cut ends into disc in triangle formation as shown. Place one bell of each color atop each dowel; secure using glue gun.
  • 4. Cut gold ribbon into 16", 18", and 20" lengths using wire cutters. Adhere one end of shortest ribbon under shortest dowel using glue gun. Loosely wrap ribbon around dowel from top to bottom; secure end using glue gun. Repeat with remaining ribbons and dowels. Cut three 18" lengths of gold ribbon; tie into bows with long tails. Wrap tails around pencil to curl; adhere bows under bells using glue gun.
  • 5. Randomly place remaining bells and pinecones into greenery; secure using glue gun.
  • 6. Sprinkle snow and gold glitter onto bells and greenery.
