Pattern - Sock Baby Bunnies

  • 1. Print out full-size patterns. Cut circles from felt.
  • 2. Position sock on table with heel facing up. In center of foot, cut from tip to heel, about 3". Turn sock inside out. Run bead of glue around cut edges and press together forming two ears. When dry, turn right side out. Cut chenille stems in half; set one aside. Bend three half stems into "v" shapes and insert one into each set of ears; lightly stuff ears with fiberfill. Continue to fill head (heel) and body (ankle cuff) with fiberfill, stuffing any extra sock into center of bunny. Press bunny into desirable shape. Wrap ribbon around neck and tie into bow.
  • 3. Adhere wiggle eyes, 1/2" white pom-poms (cheeks), and pink pom-pom (nose) to face. Rub chalk on sock for cheeks and inner ears. Bend ears as desired. Adhere felt circle of matching color to bottom of bunny, covering opening. Adhere large white pom-pom to back as tail.
  • Tip
  • 1. Use different-colored socks and sizes to make a family of bunnies.
