Pattern - Appliquéd Neck Pillow

  • 1. Print out full-size patterns. Cut out and tape pillow patterns together following instructions on patterns. Cut pillow from white/pink polka dot fabric, flowers and flower centers from pink print fabrics, and leaves from Pistachio Ice Cream felt.
  • 2. Pin flower shapes onto front pillow piece using placement diagram as guide. Hand-sew flowers to pillow using running stitch and pink embroidery floss. Pin leaves around flowers; use running stitch and green embroidery floss to hand-sew in place. Remove pins. Clip thread ends.
  • 3. Position pillow pieces together, with wrong sides facing, matching raw edges. Machine-sew around edges using 1/2" seam allowance; leaving 4" opening on bottom edge. Turn right side out through opening.
  • 4. Stuff pillow with fiberfill stuffing until firm. Hand-sew opening closed using matching thread.
