  • 2. Cover work surface with surface cover. Follow manufacturer's instructions to mix dyes in recycled gallon containers.
  • 3. Create the following colors: Truffle - brown, Turtle - hunter, Twilight - navy, Everglade - teal, Moss - olive, Pewter - gray, Harvest - tan.
  • 4. Soak cut fabric squares in dye colors for 45 minutes. Remove dyed fabric from containers. Machine wash dyed fabric separately. Dry in dryer.
  • 5. On covered work surface, position uncut sheet flat. Measure and cut 44"x60" rectangle (tent) from flat sheet.
  • 6. From dyed fabrics, cut 12" irregular-shaped pieces. See photo. Apply glue on back of dyed shapes; glue on tent, overlapping edges. See photo.
  • 7. Glue metal washer on each corner of tent. Use scissors to poke hole through each washer. To set up tent, run rope through top of tent and tie to trees or poles. Insert tent stakes through hole in washers to set in ground.
