Materials
- Mark Richards Canvas Goods Natural Tote Bag, 5-1/2”x6-1/2”
- Red/white polka dot cotton fabric scraps
- Felt, 9”x12” sheets: green, dark green
- Kraft cardstock
- Want2Scrap Light Green Rhinestones
- Gold eyelet
- Green buttons: small solid, medium pearlescent
- Red/white baker’s twine

Basic Supplies
- fabric scissors, ruler, pencil, iron and ironing board
- 1. Press red dot fabric to remove wrinkles. Cut large fabric panel no wider than die-cut machine platform.
- 2. Die cut nine postage stamp #2 shapes from fabric. Use fabric glue to adhere squares to one side of bag as shown; let dry.
- 3. Die cut apple #1 and #2 from each sheet of green felt. Glue lighter apple to darker apple for each pair, offsetting lighter apple slightly to create shadow effect. Glue apples to bag; let dry.
- 4. Stack buttons and thread with baker's twine; knot ends at back. Glue buttons to apples; let dry.
- 5. Stamp sentiment onto kraft cardstock; die-cut into label shape #3. Set eyelet at top of tag; adhere green gem to center of heart. Tie tag to handle with baker's twine.
- Tip
- 1. To create a full-size tote, simply die cut larger stamps or squares from fabric and embellish with multiple sets of apples.
