  • Glass quart canning jar
  • Tin tile (Rusty Tin): 4”x4”
  • Studio By Sculpey oven bake clay (Polyform Products): Buttermilk

  • Chocolate Brown Antiquing Medium (Polyform Products)
  • Ribbons (Creative Impressions): Black & White Gingham; Wide Twill Tape

  • Clear stamp sets (Hampton Art): Memories Interactive Circles Large, Blooming Memoires
  • Super Slicer (Polyform Products)
  • Acrylic Roller (Polyform Products)
  • Etch n Pearl (Polyform Products)
  • Hole punch, 1/8”
  • Hot glue gun and glue sticks
  • Clay-dedicated work surface
  • Paintbrush
  • Water spray bottle
  • Oven
  • 1. Paint jar surface Burnt Umber. Let dry. Apply a thick coat of crackle medium; let dry.
  • 2. Paint Butter over crackle surface, and set aside to dry.
  • 3. Follow manufacturer's instructions to condition clay. Roll clay to 1/4" thickness. Mist "bloom" and scroll stamps lightly with water, and press into clay. Use Super Slicer to trim edges.
  • 4. Roll 1/4"-wide log long enough to wrap around edge of rectangle. Press into edge, and use Etch n Pearl tool to create pearled edge.
  • 5. Roll out another piece of clay to 1/4" thickness. Mist Circle stamp with water, press into clay. Use Super Slicer to trim edges, and use Etch 'n Pearl tool to pierce two holes in clay.
  • 6. Bend tin tile slightly and place clay label on top. Follow manufacturer's instructions to bake clay items. Let cool. Apply Antiquing Medium to clay items, wipe off excess and let dry.
  • 7. Tie gingham ribbon length around top of jar. Thread twine through button holes and around twill tape, and hot glue to ribbon knot.
  • 8. Punch hole in each tile corner. Use 3-D Foam Squares to adhere tile to front of jar. Thread cotton twine through tile holes, and tie in back of jar. Hot glue clay label to tile.
