Scissors

1. Stamp hot air balloon with black ink twice onto white cardstock. Paint one image with watercolors and add details to balloon with white gel pen. Fussy cut out both balloons. Assemble painted balloon and basket on top of plain hot air balloon image using foam tape.

2. Place balloon embellishment onto card front and lightly mark placement with pencil. Remove balloon and stamp overlapping flourishes in two clusters as shown. Adhere hot air balloon over stamped flourishes and erase pencil lines. Adhere completed panel to card base.

3. Adhere sentiment to upper right corner of card using alphabet stickers as shown.

4. Adhere embellishments with tacky glue. Adhere ribbon bow and three pink flower gems to hot air balloon as shown. Adhere sprinkling of small flower gems among flourishes using a toothpick.

*Tip: Shading the balloon is important so the flat circle looks spherical to create depth. When coloring the balloon image, apply the darkest color along the edge. Gradually, the color fades and should become lighter as you move toward the center of the image.
