Make a Himalayan Poppies Card using a stamp and matching die.

Materials

  • Cardstock: Bazzill Basics Green, white
  • Blue acrylic dew drops
  • Artificial white/black flower stamens
  • Beads: large purple, two; black seed, four

  • Die-cutting machine and dies: Heartfelt Creations Blazing Poppy, Delightful Daisy; Spellbinders A2 Scalloped Borders Die
  • Heartfelt Creations Stamp Sets: Blazing Poppy Petals Cling, Blazing Poppy Fillers Cling, Delightful Daises Cling, Expressions Cling
  • Heartfelt Creations Flower Shaping Kit
  • Ink pads: Imagine Crafts StazOn Black; Stampin’ Up! Blue, Green, Purple
  • Sponge dauber
  • Ranger Glossy Accents
  • Heartfelt Creations Dries White Glue
  • 1. Cut 5"x7" panel from white cardstock. Stamp Blazing Poppy Fillers four times across center using Green ink.
  • 2. Die cut flowers using Delightful Daisy Die from white cardstock. Stamp flowers using Cling Stamp and Blue or Purple ink. Shape using Flower Shaping Kit.
  • 3. Adhere flower stamens and large beads to large flower centers. Adhere seed beads to small flower centers. Die cut leaves using Delightful Daisy Die from white cardstock. Stamp leaves using Green ink.
  • 4. Apply Blue ink to background using sponge dauber. Adhere dew drops to background.
  • 5. Adhere leaves and flowers to card. Apply Glossy Accents randomly around flowers for water droplets.
  • 6. Stamp sentiment using Expressions Cling Stamp Set and Black ink onto bottom right corner.
  • 7. Cut 7"x7" top-fold card from Green cardstock.
  • 8. Align embellished white panel to top of green card and adhere. Die cut border along bottom of card using Scalloped Border Die.
