  • Bazzill Kraft Cardstock, 5-1/2”x8-1/2”

  • Ranger Dina Wakley Media Acrylic Paints: Umber, Tangerine, Lime, Ruby, Sky, Lapis, Night, Penny; Media Palette Knife; Paintbrushes; Media Gesso; Media Gel Medium; Fine Line Tip Applicator; Swirly Mosaic Media Stencil; Media Stamps Scribbly Flowers, Scribbly Birds On Branches
  • Ranger: Texture Paste, Jet Black Archival Ink Pad, Adhesive Foam Tape, Adhesive Strips

Basic Supplies

  • paper trimmer, heat tool, spray bottle of water
  • 1. Brush gesso over Swirly Mosaic stencil on watercolor cardstock. Repeat pattern covering entire panel. Let dry.

  • 2. Add small amount of Umber to Lemon, Tangerine, and Ruby. Add water to paint; spritz onto cardstock.

  • 3. Tear strips of dictionary paper; apply gel medium to both sides and background. Apply texture paste with palette knife to Swirly Mosaic stencil over background.

  • 4. Use fine-line applicator and Penny paint to draw circles on background. Let dry.

  • 5. Stamp flowers and bird with Jet Black ink on white cardstock. Color with paintbrush and watered-down Sky, Lapis, Lime, and Lemon paints. Let dry; cut out.

  • 6. Apply water to ribbon; dab into leftover paints on palette. Use heat tool to set.

  • 7. Cut background into three panels measuring 4"x1-1/4". Make 4-1/4"x5-1/2" top-fold kraft card. Ink outer edges of panels and card with Jet Black. Tie ribbon around one panel; adhere to card front. Adhere stamped images and saying stickers. Spritz entire card with diluted Night. Let dry.
