Pendant

1. Score and separate ¼” strip from following 1” chips: white, bright green, light green, light blue and bright blue. Score and separate ½” and ¾” strip from transparent yellow.

2. Place 2”x2” kiln paper on kiln base. Arrange bottom layer from top to bottom as follows: ¼” white, ¾” yellow, ¼” bright green, ¼” light blue, ¼” bright blue. Arrange top layer from top to bottom as follows: ½” yellow, ¼” light green and 1” bright green. Center in microwave and put lid on kiln.

3. Fuse for two-and-a-half minutes at 100% power. Wearing hot mitts, check kiln for desired rounded edges. Kiln should be glowing and glass edges should be rounded. If they aren’t rounded, continue to fuse in 30-second increments at 100% power until desired shape is achieved. Allow kiln to cool on heat resistant surface for 30 minutes before using it again.

4. When cool, peel kiln paper from back of pendant. Adhere silver bail to pendant with E6000, let dry. String necklace chain.

Earring

1. Score and separate two 3/16”x¼” pieces from bright blue, bright green and white chips. Score and separate two ¼”x½” pieces from bright blue chip.    

2. Place 2”x2” kiln paper on the kiln base. Arrange bottom layer from top to bottom as follows: white, bright blue and bright green. Place ¼”x½” bright blue piece on top as shown. 


3. Fuse for two-and-a-half minutes at 100% power. Wearing hot mitts, check kiln for desired rounded edges. Kiln should be glowing and glass edges should be rounded. If they aren’t rounded, continue to fuse in 30-second increments at 100% power until desired shape is achieved. Allow kiln to cool on heat resistant surface for 30 minutes before using it again.

4. When cool, peel kiln paper from back of earrings. Adhere flat post earring backs to earrings with E6000, let dry.
