Pattern - Beaded Fireworks Runner

  • 1. Note: When working beading stitches, use grey Silamide doubled.
  • 2. Print out full-size pattern. Transfer pattern onto two pieces of 8"x6" tissue paper.
  • 3. Cut two 15"x35" purple panels and one 15"x35" flannel panel. Set one purple panel aside. Pin flannel panel to other purple panel. Baste around edges and down center to hold in place; remove pins. Center one traced design 4-1/2" from bottom on right side of purple panel; pin in place. Baste around tissue pattern, stitching ½" from traced lines. Trim off extra tissue using scissors. Work pattern through tissue, fabric, and flannel. Check back of panel to ensure stitches go through all layers.
  • Tip
  • 1. Always pull beading stitches snug so beads lay flat against the fabric. When attaching bugle beads, the seed beads need to sit flat against the end of the bugle bead. If pulled too snug, the seeds will not lay flat.
