Cross-stitch: 2 strands
Backstitch: 2 strands
French Knot: 2 strands (wrapped two times)

Pattern - Cross-Stitch Wedding Cake

  • 1. Cross-stitch design centered on fabric over two threads using two strands of floss.
  • 2. Backstitch cake using two strands 632 Desert Sand-UL VY DK and lettering using two strands 310 Black. Complete French Knots as indicated on key using two strands 632 Desert Sand-UL VY DK and 310 Black.
  • 3. When stitching filigree designs on cake stand and top of cake, stitch all connecting backstitch lines with two strands. Once done, backstitch lines with one strand of 310 Black for crisp, clean definition. Frame as desired.
