Directions

“Love” Favor

  • 1. Download desired image from thevintageworkshop.com and size to 2”x3”. Print image on white cardstock; cut out. Print “Love” on cream cardstock; trim to 1”x3” and cut “v” in ends for banner.
  • 2. Trim cardboard tube to 6” long. Cut 6” square from patterned paper; apply sticky tape and adhere around tube. Cut 4-1/2”x6” rectangle from red cardstock. For large scallop edges, remove guard from corner rounder and punch scallops in edges. Place punch slightly after each scallop for neat border.
  • 3. Cut brown cardstock slightly larger than image. Use sticky tape to mat image on cardstock, placing on edges, then onto center front of tube as shown.
  • 4. Punch heart from red cardstock; lightly spray with adhesive and sprinkle with glitter. Use dimensional adhesive dots to adhere banner to center of heart, then to tube.
  • 5. Punch scalloped circle from brown cardstock. Cut two 1/2”x1” strips; score in half and adhere one strip half to center edge of scalloped circle and tape remaining edge inside tube. Repeat for other edge for bottom base.
  • 6. Use scallop-edge scissors to trim fabric ends. Place treat(s) inside fabric and wrap or roll. Cut 3”-long slits in top to show outside of tube. Knot ribbon around end.
