Materials

  • Swarovski Bicone Crystals, 6mm: Purple Velvet, six; Tanzanite, 10; Cyclamen Opal, 12; Violet, 12
  • Silver helix beads, 10mm, 21
  • Silver AB round faceted beads, 8mm, 20
  • Vintage chandelier pendant, 2-1/2”
  • Quartz crystal oval beads, two
  • Silver findings: crimp tubes, 2mm, two; toggle clasp
  • Fine beading wire, 28” length

Tools

  • Wire cutters
  • Crimping pliers

Basic Supplies

Directions

STEP 1

  • String pendant on beading wire so it is at center of length.

STEP 2

  • Pass both wires through one Purple Velvet bicone, one silver round, one Purple Velvet bicone, one silver helix, one Tanzanite bicone, one silver round, and one Tanzanite bicone.

STEP 3

  • Separate wires. On one half, string one silver helix, one Cyclamen Opal bicone, one silver round, one Cyclamen Opal bicone, one silver helix, one Violet bicone, one silver round, one Violet bicone, and one silver helix.

STEP 4

  • Place one quartz crystal oval on wire.

STEP 5

  • Reverse pattern in Step 3.

STEP 6

  • Continue stringing using one Tanzanite bicone, one silver round, one Tanzanite bicone, one silver helix, one Purple Velvet bicone, one silver round, one Purple Velvet bicone, one silver helix, one Tanzanite bicone, one silver round, one Tanzanite bicone, one silver helix, one Cyclamen Opal bicone, one silver round, one Cyclamen Opal bicone, one silver helix, one Violet bicone, one silver round, and one Violet bicone.

STEP 7

  • Attach crimping tube using crimping pliers. Attach one half of toggle clasp.

STEP 8

  • Repeat Steps 3-7 to finish other side of necklace.

  • 1. Create your own focal pendant using vintage rub-on transfers and a metal jewelry blank.
