Jungle Out There Card

Materials

  • Yellow cardstock
  • White Out Collection Promenade patterned (We R Memory Keepers)
  • Small wiggle eyes
  • Assorted small and medium buttons
  • Green satin ribbon

Tools

  • Stamps: Playful Animals (Hero Arts); Hanging in There, It’s a Jungle (Stampendous)
  • Ink pads (Tsukineko): VersaMagic Tea Leaves Chalk; VersaFine Black Onyx Archival Pigment
  • Circle craft punches: Paper Shapers 1-1/4”, 1-1/2” (EK Success); Marvy Clever Lever 2” (Uchida of America)
  • Detail scissors
  • Foam adhesive dots

Directions

STEP 1

  • Make green top-fold card base. Cut 3”x7” green paper piece and 2-1/4”x7” light blue paper piece. Stamp leaves randomly over green paper. Adhere blue piece, then green, to card front.

STEP 2

  • Punch circles from assorted papers as follows: three 2”; one 1-1/2”; two 1-1/4”. Adhere one 2” circle to bottom right corner of card front, allowing 1/8” overlap; trim edges even.

STEP 3

  • Stamp sentiment on corner circle. Ink card edges and edges of remaining light-colored circles. Arrange and adhere overlapping circles to paper seam as shown.

STEP 4

  • Use black ink to stamp animals on contrasting papers. Use detail scissors to cut out animals; adhere wiggle eyes. Adhere animals to circles with foam dots.

STEP 5

  • Tie ribbon around card front as shown. Adhere three medium-sized buttons to ribbon. Adhere remaining buttons around sentiment circle.

STEP 6

  • To finish inside of card, stamp “Hang in there” on patterned paper; trim and mat on larger piece of paper. Adhere inside card.
