Reception Dinner Centerpiece

Materials

  • FloraCraft Design It Silks & Naturals Brand Green Dry Floral Foam, 2-5/8”x3-1/2”x7-7/8”, two
  • White-washed, distressed watering can, 6”x11-1/2”
  • White polka dot tulle ribbon, 6”x65”
  • Gerber Daisy stems: white, 4-1/2”x24”, six; purple, 4”x20”, four
  • African Daisy lime green stems, 2-1/2”x20”, six
  • Multicolor berry bush, 20”, four

Tools

  • FloraCraft Design It: Foam Cutter, 6.5” Wire Cutter
  • Elmer’s X-ACTO 8” Scissors
  • Glue gun and sticks

Directions

STEP 1

  • Use foam cutter to cut foam bricks in half. With 3-1/2” side (square side) down, stack and adhere three pieces together. (Save fourth piece for future project.) Insert stacked bricks and trim as needed to fit into container. (Note: Bricks will be about 4” below top of container.)

STEP 2

  • Referring to photo, insert three white daisies into foam to form triangle shape. Insert two purple daisies and three green daisies in center. Use wire cutter to trim lengths of stems as needed. Turn arrangement around and repeat process to add remaining daisies, so centerpiece is balanced from each angle. Fill in open areas with berry bushes.

STEP 3

  • Wrap tulle around container and tie into bow. Use scissors to cut tulle ends into “v”-shapes at desired lengths. With remaining ribbon, tuck into top of container to cover stems and foam.
