Tip: Say No to Knots

  • 1. Once you're finished with a crochet pattern, do NOT knot the yarn end. If you knot the yarn end and cut the tail close, there’s a good chance the knot will come undone (from washing or simply from everyday use), and your finished piece will begin to unravel.
  • 2. Instead, thread the cut end length into yarn needle. Carefully weave through stitches, hiding the woven length in finished fabric. Once secure, use sharp scissors to clip yarn end close to fabric, taking care not to cut fabric.
