Directions

STEP 1

  • Delight Thanksgiving guests with a darling turkey napkin ring at each place setting. You can easily whip up a batch in an evening. To get this look, use the Yo-Yo Maker (Clover) to make a 1-1/2” yo-yo from brown print cotton fabric. Move center of yo-yo toward lower edge; press. Use Dark Brown thread (Coats & Clark) and running stitch to sew 1”-wide, 5”-long cream cotton gathered lace to upper edge of yo-yo on back side. Sew 5/8” mother-of-pearl button over yo-yo opening. For eyes, sew two black 6/0 “E” glass beads horizontally. Sew two gold 6/0 “E” glass beads vertically, to dangle below eyes. For waddle, sew eight cranberry faceted glass beads in a circular ring and attach under mother-of-pearl button. Press carefully, and glue unit to wooden napkin ring.
