Directions

STEP 1

  • Using a 1/2” seam allowance, cut two 15” squares from gold fabric. Press and pin as needed. Cut checked fabric to 9” square. Press a seam in edges, iron and machine sew to one pillow square.

STEP 2

  • Follow manufacturer’s instructions to fuse muslin to webbing. Use scallop-edge scissors to cut a 6-1/2” square from fused muslin.

STEP 3

  • Download image from website or size electronic image to approximately 6” square and print onto t-shirt transfer. Follow manufacturer’s instruction to trim and fuse image to center of muslin. Remove paper backing and fuse to center of checked fabric on pillow square. Machine sew edges of muslin to checked fabric. Cut 8” length from ribbon and sew to pillow front as shown.

STEP 4

  • Hand sew pebble beads to scalloped edge by pulling knotted thread from back of pillow square to front and threading through bead. Pull thread to back of pillow and repeat using one bead per scallop.

STEP 5

  • Sew right sides of pillow together, leaving bottom open for turning. Turn pillow right side out and insert pillow form. Whipstitch bottom edge closed.

STEP 6

  • Paint tag Georgia Clay. Stamp “give thanks” on tag. Trim 6” lengths from tulle and sheer ribbon. Loop tulle and ribbon through tag hole and knot to secure. Glue piece onto pillow front with fabric glue. Tuck berries into place using small amount of fabric glue to secure.
