1. Laminate piece of torn book page to journal page using Tombow MONO Aqua Glue. Apply Aqua Glue to the back of torn book page and smooth for a wrinkle-free bond.

2. Create watercolor background by covering Tombow Blending Palette with 026 Yellow Gold and 027 Dark Ochre Dual Brush Pens. Mist with water using Blending Mister, then place Blending Palette face down on journal page. Use 076 Green Ochre Dual Brush Pen tip to color art stamp, then mist and stamp image onto page as shown for added interest.

3. Ink Leonardo sketch stamp using brush tip of 606 Violet Dual Brush Pen to ink stamp. Mist, then stamp onto journal page. Use ruler and 603 Periwinkle Dual Brush Pen to add lines for lettering.

4. Add handlettered quote using Fudenosuke Brush Pen. Apply heavy pressure on downstrokes and light pressure on upstrokes to create calligraphic effect. Add filigree stamped motif and allow to dry. Trace filagree images with MONO Multi Liquid Glue and let dry. Glue will dry clear and be sticky to the touch. Lay down gold leaf and tap with dry brush to adhere. Brush away excess leaf to finish page.
