  • 1. Simple ornaments make a sophisticated statement on the tree. Made from inexpensive foam board, these alluring ornaments make it easy and fun to trim the tree on a shoestring!
  • 2. To get this look, choose three varying diamond shapes (small, medium and large) from the Diamonds Shape Template (Fiskars). Plan a contrasting color pattern with 3/16"-thick red and green Foam Board (Elmer's). Use an X-Acto Knife (Elmer's) and metal ruler to cut small, medium and large diamonds on a cutting mat (Elmer's).
  • 3. Stack and use Craft Bond Extra Strength Glue Stick (Elmer's) to adhere small, medium and large diamond shapes together as shown. Use Craft Bond Tacky Glue (Elmer's) to adhere a clear 7mm rhinestone to each point of large diamond and on top and bottom points of smallest diamond. Repeat for remaining ornaments.
  • 4. For added sparkle, apply Silver Glitter Spray (Design Master) to ornaments. For hangers, use Craft Bond Tacky Glue (Elmer's) to adhere ribbon loops to ornament backs.
  • 5. For variations, make ornaments in a variety of shapes. Hang ornaments on a wreath or chandelier. Also, use different colored ornaments to decorate a tree you can leave out all year long.
