  • Chipboard, 6”x6”, two
  • Fabric (Michael Miller), 6-1/2”x7-1/2” strips, four
  • Pewter large eyelets (Creative Impressions), four
  • Embellishments (Making Memories): felt flower; button
  • Satin ribbon: white; red


  • Rubber stamps (Cornish Heritage Farms): Scroll Scrapblock; Big Inspirations
  • Versamark ink pad (Tsukineko)
  • Snap Dragon Embossing Powder
  • Crop-a-Dile (WeRMemoryKeepers)
  • Sewing machine and matching thread
  • Sewing needle and thread
  • Embossing heat tool
  • 1. For front cover, place fabric strip right side up and stamp scroll pattern and "imagine." Sprinkle with embossing powder, shake off excess and heat set. Hand sew button and flower to cover as shown.
  • 2. With right sides together, sew two fabric strips together leaving short end open. Turn right side out and insert chipboard. (Note: Chipboard should fit snugly inside fabric.
  • 3. Sew front and back pieces together to close openings. (Note: There should be extra material in binding area to allow for extra pages.)
  • 4. Use Crop-a-Dile to insert eyelets in front and back. Cut paper for inside pages; use Crop-a-Dile to punch holes aligned with cover holes.
  • 5. Insert pages in book. Thread ribbon through holes; tie bow.
  • 6. Stamp scroll on white paper; emboss. Adhere paper to pen and accent with ribbon.
