  • Ink pads (Tsukineko): Memento in Blue Danube, Lady Bug and Rhubarb Stalk; Ultramarine StazOn; Black Onyx VersaFine
  • Clear embossing powder (Tsukineko)
  • Tombow markers (Tombow USA): Process Yellow (055); Light Blue (515); Ultramarine (555); Carnation (761); Blush (772); Crimson (847); Saddle Brown (977); Chrome Yellow (985)
  • Black .01 Micron Pen (Sakura of America)

  • Sponge daubers (Tsukineko)
  • Eclipse masking tape (JudiKins)
  • 1. Cut two 4-3/4" white cardstock squares. Cut and place a 3" square of Eclipse tape in center of one square (front cover).
  • 2. Blend combination of Lady Bug and Rhubarb Stalk inks onto exposed perimeter of masked square using a sponge dauber for each color. Leaving mask in place, randomly stamp concentric circles from Sentiments set using Blue Danube and Rhubarb Stalk inks. Carefully remove mask.
  • 3. Use ruler and black pen to draw border around center square. Stamp Black Onyx focal image in center of square; heat emboss with clear powder. Using photo as guide, color image with markers.
  • 4. Die cut "summer" letters from white cardstock; sponge letters Blue Danube and adhere above boat.
  • 5. For inside front cover, use ruler and Crimson marker to draw border around inner edge of remaining cardstock square. Use black pen to write photo CD contents as shown; don't forget to include the year or date.
  • 6. Adhere white cardstock squares together and slide into front cover of case. Stamp a row of Ultramarine diamonds down spine of case; let dry.
  • Tip
  • 1. Planning the family reunion? Ask everyone to email photos to you in advance, then simply compile them and burn them onto a CD to pass out at the party. Design one cover, then color copy it for all the cases.
  • 2. For an ultra-quick CD case, replace the stamped image with a sticker or rub-on transfer; replace sponged/stamped background with patterned paper.
