Dog Bone Fruzzle Frame

Display a cute photo of your dog in this easy to make bone frame.

  • Dog Bone Fruzzle Frame


  • Fruzzle frame: dog bone, 6”x10” (Fruzzle)
  • Decorative papers (Basic Grey)
  • Rubber Stampede Rubber Stamp Alphabet Set: Fun Type (Delta)
  • Paper fasteners: black; mini pewter, two
  • Antique gold eyelets, 1/8”, six
  • Jute twine, 5” length
  • Ink pads: brown, black
  • Photo, 2-1/2”x3-1/2”


  • Corner rounder punch
  • Circle punches, 1/16”, 1/8”
  • Fabri-Tac Permanent Adhesive (Beacon Adhesives)
  • PEELnSTICK Foam Squares: 1/4”, 1/2” (Therm O Web)
  • Paintbrush
  • Sandpaper
  • Eyelet setter
  • Craft knife
  • 1. Use small dry sponge to wipe brown ink on outside puzzle piece edges
  • 2. Place puzzle piece on paper (both with right sides facing up). Trace puzzle piece; cut out. Glue paper shape to puzzle piece, spreading glue on entire back. Sand paper edges on puzzle piece. Repeat for remaining puzzle pieces, using different paper for each. (Note: Use solid, light-colored papers in top left corner so stamped name will show.)
  • 3. Place photo in frame and follow manufacturer's instructions to assemble frame. Stamp name black
  • 4. Trace and cut out pattern
  • 5. Tear face from light textured paper and ears and spot around eye from dark textured paper
  • 6. Use small dry sponge to apply brown ink to torn edges and cheeks
  • 7. Glue eye spot to face
  • 8. Punch 1/8" holes at muzzle dots; attach eyelets
  • 9. Punch 1/8" hole at nose dot; attach sanded black fastener
  • 10. Punch 1/16" holes at eye dots; attach pewter fasteners
  • 11. Use foam squares to adhere ears to head and face to lower right side of frame
  • 12. Tie knot in center of jute length; unravel ends and glue knot under head
