Project Instructions

1. Separate outer and inner rings of embroidery hoops. Lay outer rings with screws on newspaper or drop cloth in a well-ventilated area and spray paint; let dry.

2. Place outer ring with jean pocket centered in the hoop and lightly mark 1” all the way around the ring with fabric chalk. Cut out marked circle using sharp scissors. Make sure there aren’t any rivets on the jeans that will prevent the fabric from being sandwiched between embroidery hoops.

3. Place cut denim pocket between inner and outer rings and screw embroidery hoops together until everything is nice and tight. Cut away excess denim from the back.
