  • Fabric of choice, 7-1/2”x14”
  • Packet of pocket sized tissues


  • Sewing machine with matching thread
  • Sewing needle

Basic Supplies

  • iron and pressing surface, scissors
  • 1. Cut 7-1/2"x14" rectangle from fabric. Press flat. Turn under and press 1/2" hems along two short edges.

  • 2. Fold in half with right sides facing up. Press fold; open.

  • 3. Fold right hemmed edge to meet center fold with wrong side facing up. Repeat with left side. Press folds.

  • 4. Fold right hemmed edge out to meet right edge of fabric; press. Fold left hemmed edge out to meet left edge of fabric; press.

  • 5. Turn fabric so right side is facing up. Fold folded edges inward to meet center fold. Press firmly to fix folds.

  • 6. Machine-sew across raw ends using 1/2" seam allowance. Turn piece inside out, folding both edges together. Hand-sew inner edges together. Hand-sew outer edges together 3/4" from either end.
