Fabric Silverware Pockets

Materials

  • FOR ONE:
  • Cotton print fabric, 5-1/2”x6-1/2” rectangle

Tools

  • Sewing needle and thread or fabric glue
  • Iron
  • Scissors
  • Ruler or measuring tape
  • Straight pins
  • 1. Measure and cut 5"x6-1/2" fabric rectangle.
  • 2. Fold one long edge of rectangle, 1/4" to wrong side of fabric. Use iron to press. Sew or glue along pressed edge.
  • 3. To form pocket, fold rectangle, with right sides together. Use pins to hold in place.
  • 4. Sew or glue side and bottom edges together, leaving top open.
  • 5. Turn pocket right side out. Insert silverware.
