Sew one D wing onto each right-facing birdie and sew one E wing onto each left-facing birdie. Arrange four birdies, evenly spaced, on each A colored section of blanket; sew in place. Arrange two legs and one beak on each birdie, placing legs beneath birdie and beak on face; sew in place. Using yarn needle, weave in all ends or tuck ends under birdies.
