  • Gold wire, 20-gauge: 8” length for each ornament; 34” length for double bamboo ornament
  • Gold head pins, 1-1/2” long

Tools

  • All Night Media Anna Griffin rubber stamps (Plaid): alphabet; decorative
  • Black permanent ink pad
  • Round-nose pliers

Directions

  • Single Bamboo Bead Ornament
  • 1. Stamp bamboo bead vertically with “JOY” or a decorative design. (Note: For a softer image, stamp lightly on scrap paper first and then stamp bead.)
  • 2. Bend an 8” wire length in half. Twist wire at center, making a small loop at top.
  • 3. Insert wire ends through holes in top of bamboo bead. Twist wire ends together at bottom of bead. Trim wire ends 3/4” from bottom of bead. Bend wire ends together into a small loop at bottom of bead.
  • 4. Place a red, green and ivory bead on head pin. Bend end of head pin over slightly; insert wire end through loop at bottom of bead; continue bending wire end until it touches top of last bead.
  • 5. Insert a 10” cord length through loop at top of ornament and knot ends together for hanger.
  • Double Bamboo Bead Ornament
  • 1. Stamp one bamboo bead horizontally with “NOEL” and stamp one bamboo bead with a decorative design. (Note: For a softer image, stamp lightly on scrap paper first and then stamp bead.)
  • 2. Bend a 34” wire length in half. Twist wire at center, making a small loop at top.
  • 3. Insert wire ends through holes in top sides of decorative bamboo bead with loop at center top of bead. Then insert wire ends through holes in bottom sides of bead. Repeat inserting wire ends through top and bottom holes of “NOEL” bead. Twist wire ends together at bottom of bead. Trim wire ends 3/4” from bottom of bead. Bend wire ends together into a small loop at bottom of bead. Twist loop at top of ornament if needed to make wire across top of bead tighter.
  • 4. Place a red, green and ivory bead on head pin. Bend end of head pin over slightly; insert wire end through loop at bottom of bead; continue bending wire end until it touches top of last bead.
  • 5. Insert a 10” cord length through loop at top of ornament and knot ends together for hanger.
