Directions

  • 1. Combine a beautiful photo with pressed flowers or a butterfly to create a lovely, one-of-a-kind display case. (Note: While designer Kathleen Paneitz used a real butterfly for this box, she found the specimen after its demise. Rather than toss the specimen, she decided to preserve it.)
  • 2. To create a similar case, mat a butterfly or flower photo on black cardstock. Attach a “brites” Cheeky Board Clip (Making Memories) to the photo corner. Adhere the photo inside the display case. Apply black “bliss” (Luxe Designs) and “summer” (Rusty Pickle) rub-ons to 5th Avenue Spiral Journaling Notebook Tag (Making Memories) as shown. Use antique flower brad (The Paper Studio) to attach a pink daisy (Petaloo) to the journaling tag. Use Aleene’s Platinum Bond Super Fabric Textile Adhesive to glue pink velvet floral ribbon (Doodlebug Design) along right side of case. Carefully adhere butterfly over flower center.
